Aja Dang put me on to Passion Planners in late 2019 and it was one of the greatest things to happen to me. I was in a really dark hole (#2020, amirite?) and my Passion Planner played a huge role in getting me out of that. I even created a whole event about how I track my behavior using my Passion Planner that ended up being the launching pad for my business.

And it helped me solidify my spot as an official Passion Planner ambassador. 🥳 You can get yours for 10% off with the promo code MAEGAN10.

My Passion Planner is essential to me feeling empowered in my day-to-day life. It’s a space to track my goals, my accomplishments, my to-do’s, my financial progress, my physical activity and my mental health.

If you’re creative enough, a Passion Planner is so much more than your average planner. Here are 3 ways that I empower myself using the grid pages at the back of the planner.

1. I TRACK MY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.

Rather than binge eat during lockdown, my stress manifested as daily workouts — sometimes two workouts a day. I managed to lose 20 pounds and although that sounds great, it wasn’t. It was a trauma response.

It was great though to learn how empowering it is to track my physical activity. I’ve detached from how much I weigh and now I focus on how often I’m moving my body. It felt so good last year to look back and see how dedicated I was to being consistent about daily movement. I also track the days that I’m sick within this chart so I get a full view of my physical health.

2. I TRACK MY BUSINESS PROGRESS + CONTENT CREATION.

On one page I track how much content I’m pushing out. (Once this blog is published, I get to color in a new square! 🥳) I track how many Friday Reports I’ve published, how many blogs I’ve written and how many videos I’ve posted to IGTV.

On the opposite page, I track how many email subscribers I have (each box represents 50 subs) and how many participants join each cohort of the Self Maed Bootcamp. I think next I’ll use the rest of the page to track my business income, events hosted, guest workshops and customer count.

3. I TRACK MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

I have a page dedicated to tracking my accomplishments called “Brag About It!” and there’s no such this as too big or too small for this page.

This is by far my favorite page of my Passion Planner and my face lights up every time I go to add a new accomplishment. It feels sooo good to read this list on December 31st and I highly recommend creating your own whether it’s on paper or digital like in Notion or a Google Spreadsheet.

Here are some of fave accomplishments of the year so far:

  • I raised $685 in donations from my IG + Twitter followers in 12 hours for a Maexican man experiencing homelessness.
  • I completed a 21-day cleanse.
  • I received Stripe notifications for passive products while drinking maezcal on a private Maexican beach.
  • I onboarded my first accountability mentee.
  • I launched The Self Maed Bootcamp.
  • I got paid for my first guest workshop.

And it’s only August! 😈

Here are my favorite tools to use with my Passion Planner.
