Happy New Moon!

If you haven’t already, can you carve out 5 minutes for yourself this weekend to say thank you for all that you have? I promise, it will feel sooo good. And you’ll be rewarded with even more things for which to be grateful!

Today I’m grateful for a beautiful + cozy apartment, productive Power Hours with digital friends and to be able to make a living helping beautiful humans make their dreams come true. My life is all I could have ever asked for.

I’m also grateful for the hour-long massage and round of acupuncture that I got right before writing this email. I hope that you can feel the chill vibes through the screen. 😎

Let’s dive in!

  • No competition, the highlight of my week was this lawyer who is not a cat.
  • As an OG Britney fan, I’m elated that the #FeeBritney movement is gaining notoriety. Whether or not you watched Framing Britney Spears on Hulu, I highly recommend watching this YouTube series. Be warned, it’s infuriating.
  • America is wild, the end.
  • My homie Brea is on the hunt for a Remote Junior Designer! I can confirm that she is an absolute JOY to work with. Here’s the job description and application if you’re interested.
  • Have you watched Malcom & Marie? I really liked it. I know it got a lot of controversy because of the age difference, but…I love an older man so who I am to talk?
  • Are you familiar with The Green Book? I’m not sure when I found out about it, but I definitely didn’t know what it was as a kid. It’s wild when I reflect on how my family inherently navigated road-trips and how our behaviors were rooted in the possibility of racist encounters on the way to our destination.
  • I LOVE this list of 21 habits to create in 2021.
  • Viagra is the most replicated drug in the world and we still fighting for free birth control?
  • For all my solopreneur friends, this is a beautiful explanation as to how/how much to pay yourself when you’re a one-person team.

What’s up with me?

  • I’ve had so many tech issues this week that no one could ever convince me that Mercury Retrograde isn’t a thing.
  • My pseudo-cleanse is officially done! I went almost a month without Maezcal and I feel amazing. It definitely sparked a lifestyle change for me and I’m so proud of myself for sticking to it. Now it’s tattoo time as a reward. 😈
  • I started Intention Factor’s 6-week Fitness Program and I feel SO GOOD. Most importantly, I feel strong again. If you, like me, really miss the gym and lifting and being strong, I can’t recommend this program enough, particularly if you’ve been in a rut. Note, it’s not beginner friendly. If you sign up and use Notion, hit me up and I’ll give you my fitness tracker template. You have a week to sign up for the next round.
  • I’m so excited for Self-Care Maed Easy on Sunday which then flows beautifully into my For the Love of Money Challenge. I’ve put so much love and thought into the daily exercises and I can’t wait to see what the participants will get out of it. 🥰
  • I’ve probably said it a lot already in this email, but…I feel so good. Last year was ROUGH and this year has its moments, but when I tell you I worked hard to get here? I worked hard to get here and I’m loving every single moment of it. If you happen to be going through a rough time right now, life’s about to get so fucking great for you. Take that rough time as your confirmation and use gratitude to get you to a happier place. It never fails.

Quote of the Week

“My fantasy was that I would be able to be myself on TV.” — Andy Cohen Bethenny Frankel’s new podcast

(My mission is to curate a life where I can truly + always be my authentic self.)

Track of the Week

This was SO HARD, but my final choice is Jalousie by Hamza. He’s a Belgian Trap&B artist and per Spotify, my most listened to artist year after year. Cheihk is a close second.

Das it! Immediately after sending this email I will binge Bojack Horseman while I create email sequences on ConvertKit because automation makes me drool.

I’m off to Tulum tomorrow with beautiful women to enjoy a beach-side rooftop with AfroBeats as the soundtrack. I’m hoping that I won’t do any work in the morning, but why lie to myself?

Stay grateful,
Maegan
