Quote of the week:

“Authenticity is universally attractive.”

I got this from this fire TED Talk. It really helped me see the beauty in showing up as myself and why I take so much pride in how I dress and tat my bawdy.

Feliz Viernes!

I’ve had the most productive week ever. Weeks like this are why I work intuitively and rest when my body wants to. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to beast the way that I do.

In 2018 I took off January through March and have been consistent about taking at least one entire month off per year since. This year, I’m going to push for December and January because I deserve itttt and life is meant to live, ya know?

I’m so blessed to have created a career that I love, but in order to stay in love, I definitely need time off. Absence makes the heart grow fonder or whatever.

Shoutout to Adrienne + Nenelwa for hopping on a Friday evening Power Hour with me. The second I’m done, I’m laying down with a joint and continuing my binge of The Encore.

Before you choose a Friday night treat…

Let’s dive in!

Sidenote: my heart tingles that so many of you love this section! I grew up in a newspaper household so grâce aux mes parents, I’m a news junkie.

What’s up with me?

  • I’ve been focused on the Self Maed™️ Bootcamp this week in tandem with client work. I’m SO excited for this offer, I can’t even deal. And I’m so thankful to have friends who encourage me to get over my fears and put myself out there. I’ve spent the week taking inquiry calls about the bootcamp and it’s been the highlight of my week to meet so many dope souls. You still have time to schedule yours to make sure bootcamp is right for you.
  • While I’ve done a great job being consistent with my morning routine this week, I’ve not done a great job with moving my body (outside of walks to the store) so tomorrow I’m leaving my cozy Airbnb for a studio apartment by the beach. I think some cafe hopping, yoga on a balcony and reading on the beach will be good for my spirit.
  • I want to show up as my best self over these next 6 weeks so I’m being proactive about scheduling self care. Today I did a guided meditation via zoom with Tyler, a mindset and lifestyle coach. It was LIFE and I immediately booked another session once we were done.
  • To celebrate the 30th Friday Report, I’m gifting a guided mediation with Tyler to the first human to respond to this email and tell me: what’s your favorite self care ritual? Mine is getting my nails done, shockerrr.

Track of the Week

Definitely meant to mention this one last week and considering all of the DaBaby controversy this week, I’m even more so excited to make Lil Nas X’s Industry Baby track of the week. The innovation?! The IDGAFness of it all?! I live to see humans show up as their authentic selves — while getting paid to do so. Listen (and watch) on…

ICYMI

  • Here’s a tip on how to project plan like a pro.
  • Mi amiga Desiree is kicking off a FREE 5-Day challenge on Monday to kickstart and reevaluate your relationship with wealth, abundance and your purpose. I’m sooo excited to continue being proactive about tending to my spirit. Working with Desiree has been pivotal to my growth and healing this past year and I can’t recommend her services enough. I honestly don’t know if I’d even have launched the bootcamp without her, love you, Des!

Congratulations on making it through the 30th Friday Report! What a ride?! I’m so proud of myself for the consistency and so hype that what started as a challenge for myself has led to other beautiful humans creating their own weekly newsletters.

Whether you know it or not, you influence other humans everyday, just by being you, and I hope you influence them positively. You’re always rewarded for showing up as yourself and the people who love you, like truly love you, want nothing more than for you to be yourself. Never forget it.

Stay you,
Maegan
